Dr. Ryan Gilroy, DC, BS was born and raised in the Northeastern Pennsylvania cities of Hazleton and Tamaqua.  He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology.  While at Penn State, Dr. Gilroy was active with the college Tae Kwon Do team and was named Collegiate National Champion in 2002.  He also trained at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado and competed internationally.

Dr. Gilroy received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY with Dean's List status.  He was chosen to participate in an honors rotation at the VA Hospital in Buffalo, NY providing comprehensive chiropractic services to local veterans.  Dr. Gilroy is trained in A.R.T. (Active Release Technique, Lower Extremity) and Kinesiotaping, both techniques that are widely used by athletes to reduce pain, enhance performance and prevent injury.  Dr. Gilroy has special interest in treating athletes for injury rehabilitation and performance enhancement in addition to providing family wellness care.  

Dr. Gilroy is honored to serve the community of Bath and the Lehigh Valley as a healthcare provider.  He is a member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, and American Chiropractic Association.  Outside of the office, Dr. Gilroy enjoys playing golf and running.  He has completed four marathons and will compete in the Boston Marathon in 2012.  In the summers, you may also find him raking leaves, fixing electric hookups, or cleaning the pool at his family's campground in Tamaqua, Rosemount Camping Resort.


Dr. Melissa (Stoos) Gilroy, DC, MS is a native of Buffalo, New York.  After obtaining a degree in neuroscience from Hamilton College, she went on to graduate summa cum laude from New York Chiropractic College.  Like Dr. Ryan Gilroy, she was chosen to participate in the VA Hospital honors rotation and her experience was highlighted in a 2008 issue of The ACA News.  While at NYCC, she also completed a Masters degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition.

Dr. Gilroy has special interest in chiropractic care for children and during pregnancy.  She is certified in Webster Technique, a specialized form of chiropractic treatment for pregnant women and has additional training in chiropractic care of children with the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association. She is a member of the Bath Borough Community Partnership (BBCP), Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, and American Chiropractic Association.  

When they are not serving the community as healthcare providers, the doctors enjoy taking walks, stacking blocks, and playing peek-a-boo with their young son Lucas.
